Abstract

Objective Based on the application of the BOPPPS model using"Rain Classroom"platform in the clinical teaching of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)orthopedics,this study aimed to observe student performance improvement and satisfaction levels.Methods The study involved 80 undergraduate transfer interns from the Department of Orthopedics at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.They were divided into a control group(n=40)and an observation group(n=40)according to different wards.The theoretical and practical scores of the two groups after one month of rotation and their satisfaction with the BOPPPS teaching model were compared between two groups.Results The total scores of the control group(87.61±1.25)points were significantly lower than those of the observation group(90.39±2.78)points.Additionally,the satisfaction rate of the observation group with the teaching model(95%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(90%),with the differences being statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of the BOPPPS model and"Rain Classroom"demonstrated significant effectiveness in application in the clinical teaching of TCM orthopedics.This teaching model not only effectively enhances students'theoretical knowledge and practical operational skills but also improves their learning interest and satisfaction.
