Abstract
Objective:To explore the differences in anxiety and depression symptoms of patients with non-erosive reflux disease(NERD)and those without NERD among patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD),as well as the correlation between those symptoms and TCM syndrome types. Methods:A total of 126 GERD patients were taken as the research objects and divided into the NERD group(90 cases)and the non-NERD group(36 cases).Statistical analyses were carried out on the general demographic characteristics,Helicobacter pylori infection status,HAMA score,HAMD score,TCM syndromes, tongue and pulse manifestations and other relevant data of patients in the two groups. Results:There were 90 patients in the NERD group, and the difference of gender ratio of patients was statistically significant(P=0.035).The duration of the disease course in the non-NERD group was much shorter than that in the NERD group, and the anxiety incidence and the depression incidence in the NERD group were both higher than those in the non-NERD group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The TCM syndrome types of NERD male patients were mainly the liver-stomach stagnant heat syndrome, the gallbladder fire upward reverse syndrome, and the spleen deficiency with damp-heat syndrome, while the TCM syndromes of NERD female patients were mainly the liver-stomach stagnant heat syndrome and the Qi(气)stagnation with phlegm obstruction syndrome. The differences of TCM syndrome types in gender distribution and anxiety degree in the NERD group were statistically significant(P=0.02).Conclusion:NERD patients have a long duration of disease and are prone to be accompanied by anxiety and depression. There are gender differences of main TCM syndrome types, and the degrees of anxiety and depression in patients with different TCM syndrome types are also different. The correlation between different TCM syndrome types and the degrees of anxiety and depression in NERD patients is worthy of further research.关键词
