Life cycle-based ecological quality assessment of Yanqing competition area of Beijing Winter Olympics based on GEE

Abstract
As an international sports event,the Winter Olympics is often held in ecologically fragile areas and is significantly affected by large-scale engineering construction activities,which poses a serious challenge to the protection of the local eco-logical environment.Therefore,it is particularly important to continuously monitor the ecological quality of the competition area of the Winter Olympics.This paper took the Yanqing area of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics as the research object and used the Landsat 8 remote sensing image data from 2015 to 2022 provided by the Google cloud computing platform.By calculating the ecological indicators such as greenness,humidity,dryness,and heat,the remote sensing ecological index was constructed by principal component analysis,and the spatial and temporal changes of ecological quality in the whole life cycle of the competition area were systematically revealed.Through the transfer matrix and difference analysis method,the change trend of ecological quality was further discussed.The results show that although the ecological quality of the Yanqing competition area has fluctuated from 2015 to 2022,it shows an overall upward trend,indicating that the ecological restora-tion project has achieved certain results in this area.关键词
