Abstract

Diabetic chronic wounds,characterized by excessive oxidative stress and a high susceptibility to bacterial infection,lead to delayed healing which significantly impacts patient health.There is an urgent need to develop functional wound dressings integrated with antioxidant and antibacterial properties.In this study,a fi-brous membrane/hydrogel bilayer dressing was developed.The lower layer consisted of hyaluronic acid hydrogels loaded with luteolin,providing antioxidant properties.The upper layer was polylactic acid electrospun fibrous membrane loaded with gold nanorod,which enabled physical antibacterial activity through near-infrared photo-thermal effects.Experimental results demonstrated that the hydrogel layer achieved a DPPH radical scavenging rate of 86.79%within 30 minutes,indicating significant antioxidant activity.Furthermore,under NIR irradiation(808 nm,2 W/cm2,5 min),the surface temperature of the dressing increased to 58.5℃,resulting in an anti-bactericidal rate of 99.88%against staphylococcus aureus.This research offered a new approach for developing antioxidant and antibacterial dressings.
