Hierarchical Interaction of Party Organizations in Hunan,Hubei,and Jiangxi Soviet Areas from the Perspective of Separatist Strategy(1928-1930)

Abstract
After the failure of the Great Revolution,the setbacks of the Communist Party of China in the cities prompted it to turn its attention to exploring the revolutionary path in the vast rural areas.However,due to the frag-mented internal relationships within the local Party organizations at that time,the Party organizations along the Hu-nan,Hubei,and Jiangxi borders were in a state of spontaneous struggle for a period of time.During this process,the Hunan,Hubei,and Jiangxi Border Special Committee(hereinafter referred to as the"Special Committee")explored the strategy of"secret separatism"and sought approval from the higher-level Hunan Provincial Committee.After learning of this separatist strategy,the Hunan Provincial Committee engaged in a heated debate with the Special Committee,with each side holding their own views and confronting each other.The relationship between the two was full of tension,but in the end,the Special Committee gradually changed its separatist strategy,and obeyed the instructions of the Hunan Provincial Committee.The decision on the"secret separatism"strategy in Hunan,Hubei,and Jiangxi Soviet Areas was based on the consideration of the actual interests of the revolution,as well as the weakening and constraints of the Party's organizational principles.It reflects the hardships and complexities of the Party's exploration of the revolutionary path after the failure of the Great Revolution,and also demonstrates the Party's gradual growth in handling local level relationships.关键词
