人机协同翻译模式在景点介绍英译中的应用研究
A Study on the Application of a Human-Machine Collaborative Translation Model in the English Translation of Tourist Attraction Introductions

Abstract
The English introductions in China's tourist attractions are a practical vehicle for"telling well China's stories".At present,the English versions of Chinese attraction introductions are predominantly literal renderings,which undermines the effectiveness of information delivery and cultural communication.This study proposes a hu-man-machine collaborative translation model based on Controlled Chinese,with the aim of improving the quality and efficiency of English translations of tourist attraction introductions and exploring application pathways for large language models in specialized translation.Through literature review and comparative corpus analysis,the study distills Controlled Chinese writing methods for attraction introductions and,on this basis,designs structured prompts suited to the Chinese-to-English translation of attraction introductions.Using the large language model GPT-4,we conducted a human-machine collaborative translation experiment on field-collected texts introducing natural and cultural landscapes.Comparing the human-machine translations with the original translations,quantitative analysis shows that the human-machine translations can effectively reduce tourists'cognitive load,while qualitative evalua-tion indicates that they place clearer emphasis on key information and that explanations of culture-loaded terms help deepen tourists'cultural understanding.The findings suggest that,in the AI era,translators with professional expertise can achieve a systematic improvement in the English translation of Chinese tourist attraction introductions through a human-machine collaborative translation model based on Controlled Chinese.关键词
