摘要

Abstract

The limited flowering duration and lack of cultivar diversity in Camellia japonica have restricted its broader application in landscaping and reduced its potential economic value.This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the flowering process and its key regulatory factors,and summarizes flowering control techniques,aiming to offer a theoretical foundation for the development of new ornamental varieties and year-round flowering cultivation.The flowering process in Camellia japonica consists of three main stages:floral bud differentiation,floral organ development,and bloom.The regulation of flowering is coordinately influenced by endogenous genetic factors and exogenous environmental conditions.Corresponding management measures for flowering regulation are implemented targeting the nutritional requirements,water and soil environment,low temperature and light conditions,as well as hormone levels of Camellia japonica during its flowering period.
