Research Progress in Detection Techniques for Chemical Oxygen Demand
摘要
Abstract
Chemical oxygen demand(COD)is a critical parameter for assessing water quality,accurately characterizing the level of pollution by reducible substances in water bodies.However,traditional standard COD detection methods,exemplified by the dichromate method,are time-consuming,rely on expensive or hazardous reagents,and are susceptible to chloride ion interference.To address these challenges,researchers have explored various novel COD detection methods,including spectrophotometric,electrochemical,and photocatalytic approaches.Although these new methods demonstrate excellent detection performance in laboratory settings,their potential for practical application remains to be fully validated.Consequently,this review summarized the research progress in COD detection over the past five years,evaluated the characteristics and application prospects of individual technologies,and analyzed their limitations alongside future research trends.关键词
