Abstract
With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence(AI)technology,the research paradigm of materials science is undergoing a profound transformation.AI has emerged as a pivotal determinant in the global competition for new materials R&D,driving active engagement from leading technology firms,emerging AI enterprises,and established materials and chemical companies in fostering deeper integration between AI and materials science.In recent years,AI technologies have played an essential role in expediting material discovery and screening,advancing the intellectualization of material synthesis processes,and facilitating material characterization.It is advisable for energy and chemical enterprises to integrate"AI+new materials"into their strategic planning and systematically explore pathways for incorporating AI technologies into the new materials industry,focus on key areas such as high-performance battery materials,hydrogen-related materials,and carbon capture materials by considering energy industry needs,accelerate the development of industry-specific datasets and computational platforms,and strengthen talent development and collaborative mechanisms at the intersection of artificial intelligence and materials science.关键词
