Abstract

Post-stack seismic data is affected by stacking,which results in lower reservoir prediction accuracy,while low signal-to-noise ratio of single OVT data makes it impossible for direct reservoir prediction.Aiming at the aboved problems and starting from the pre-stack seismic gather data,seismic processing methods of OVT noise sup-pression,amplitude energy compensation and small-area stacking are used to suppress the noise as much as possi-ble and enhance the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR).Meanwhile,mathematical operations and RGB attribute fusion are applied to small-area stacked OVT data to fully extract azimuthal anisotropy information from pre-stack seismic data while improving SNR.The processed OVT data is then used for channel sand bodies prediction.The application re-sults of this method for development and adjustment of BYEPX block in Daqing Placanticline oilfields indicate that,the identification conincidence rate of channel sand bodies with a thickness≥2 m based on pre-stack OVT domain seismic attributes reaches 92.3%,which is 7.7 percentage points higher than characterization results based on the conventional seismic attributes.The reservoir characterization results show good results in guiding the development and adjustment,and the research provides reference significance for development adjustment and application in other blocks.
