Impact of digital economy on employment
摘要
Abstract
The development of digital economy has generated new industries and new modes,which bring opportunities and challenges to the employment scale and structure in China.Based on the panel data of 41 prefecture-level cities in the Yangtze River Delta(YRD)city cluster from 2003 to 2021,this paper adopts the entropy weighting method to measure the development level of urban digital economy,and empirically analyses the effect of urban digital economy on the employment scale and employment structure of the YRD region.The study shows that the development of urban digital economy has a significant positive effect on the employment scale,and has a positive effect on high-function workers,middle-function workers and low-function workers,with a greater effect on middle-function workers and low-function workers.关键词
