Fractional-order Complementary Non-singular Terminal Sliding Mode Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors

Abstract
To improve the performance of the speed regulation system of permanent magnet synchro-nous motors(PMSMs),a fractional-order complementary non-singular terminal sliding mode control method based on a disturbance observer was proposed.A nonlinear disturbance observer was construct-ed to estimate external load disturbances of the system,and the estimated values were feedforward-com-pensated into the speed controller.A fractional-order complementary sliding mode was designed using a control law with a saturation function.Furthermore,a fractional-order complementary non-singular terminal sliding mode control strategy was developed.The Lyapunov stability criterion was applied to demonstrate that the proposed method ensured the asymptotic stability of the PMSM control system.Simulation results show that the proposed method reduces the time required for the motor to reach a steady state from startup by 78.8%,and the values after a sudden speed increase or a sudden load appli-cation are further decreased by 80%and 91.1%,respectively.The fractional-order complementary ter-minal sliding mode method exhibits stronger robustness against parameter variations and external distur-bances and ensures more accurate tracking performance.关键词
