Application effect of systematic operating room nursing combined with psychological support in prostate cancer patients undergoing robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the application effect of systematic operating room nursing combined with psychological support in prostate cancer patients undergoing robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery.Methods:88 prostate cancer patients who were treated at Jiangsu Province Hospital from January 2022 to January 2024 were selected and divided into the control group(n=44,receiving conventional perioperative nursing)and the observation group(n=44,receiving psychological support combined with systematic operating room nursing)based on nursing methods.Surgical indicators,pain levels,psychological status,quality of life,and complication rates were compared between the two groups.Results:The observation group showed significantly earlier time to first ambulation,anal exhaust,and drainage tube removal after surgery(P<0.05).The comparison of intraoperative blood loss and postoperative drainage volume between the two groups showed no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).At 1,2,and 3 days after surgery,Visual Analog Scale(VAS)scores decreased in both groups compared to that before surgery,with lower scores in the observation group(P<0.05).At 2 weeks after surgery,Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)scores were lower in the observation group than those in the control group(P<0.05).The observation group also had higher scores across all dimensions of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire(EORTC QLQ-C30)than those in the control group(P<0.05).While lower postoperative complication rate were found in the observation group than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Systematic operating room nursing combined with psychological support can effectively alleviate postoperative pain,improve nursing efficiency,reduce negative emotions,lower complication rates,and significantly enhance quality of life in prostate cancer patients undergoing robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery.关键词
