Abstract

Objective To explore the pathways and effects of health education activities in cultivating interdisciplinary talents for sports-health integration.Methods From Sep-tember 2021 to December 2022,leveraging the advantages of a Life Sciences and Health Science Education Base,medical students were organized to conduct health educa-tion activities targeting university students,primary and secondary school students,and community residents.Ques-tionnaire surveys were used to comparatively analyze the positive impact of these practical health education activities on the worldview,values,scientific outlook,and spirit of dedication among university students and school students,as well as the positive impact on community residents'health knowledge,health concepts,health management,and exercise-for-health behaviors.Results After the educa-tional activities,the positive impact significantly out-weighed the negative impact among university students re-garding their outlook on life,scientific outlook,profession-al competence,and spirit of dedication,with a marked in-crease in social service awareness.For primary and second-ary school students,the positive impact on their outlook on life and values also significantly outweighed the negative impact,aiding in the establishment of correct outlooks on life and values,as well as fostering a scientific health con-sciousness.Health education activities conducted for com-munity residents positively influenced the health knowl-edge acquisition and healthy lifestyle adoption of over 90%of participants,with significantly enhanced health manage-ment awareness.Conclusion Conducting sports-health inte-gration educational practices based on health education ac-tivities demonstrates significant resource advantages and ef-fective integration outcomes.This approach not only achieved the goal of socialized service but also explored an effective pathway for cultivating interdisciplinary talents in sports-health integration.
