新疆机采长绒棉发展现状及对策
Development current status and countermeasure of Xinjiang machine-picked long-staple cotton

Abstract
To promote the sustainable development of long-staple cotton industry and ensure the safe supply of high-quality raw cotton in China,the current situation of planting,picking,processing and quality in the main producing areas of Xinjiang long-staple cotton were investigated.Combined with field data and enterprise cases,the current development status of the machine-picked long-staple cotton industry was expounded and development countermeasures were proposed.The study showed that Xinjiang had cultivated many machine-picked long-staple cotton varieties and the processing link had overcome the problem of fiber damage through equipment innovation,with no difference in the quality of raw cotton compared to hand-picked cotton.However,the industry still faced challenges such as arid climate,soil salinization,insufficient regional adaptability varieties and backward mechanical supporting facilities.Moreover,the planting cost was high,the market price fluctuated greatly and subsidies could not cover the cost.The research considered that through optimizing irrigation technology,improving water use efficiency,cultivating widely adaptable machine-picked varieties,improving the intelligentization level of agricultural machinery,extending the industrial chain and dynamically subsidy policies,the enthusiasm of cotton growers could be mobilized and continuously promote the stable development of long-staple cotton industry.关键词
