Adaptation of Different Rice Cultivars in Sandy Saline-Alkali Land in Ningxia
摘要
Abstract
This study aims to identify salt-tolerant rice cultivars suitable for sandy saline-alkali land in Xingqing District,Yinchuan,Ningxia.A field screening experiment involving nine rice cultivars was conducted to evaluate growth duration, agronomic traits, lodging resistance, yield components and grain quality.Twelve yield and quality related indices were analyzed using correlation analysis, principal component analysis(PCA),and membership function analysis derive a comprehensive ranking of salt-alkali tolerance. The results indicated that growth duration of the nine rice cultivars ranged from 140 to 154 days, with'Ningjing 56'exhibiting the longest duration(154 days)and'Qiuyou 88'the shortest(140 days).Lodging was negligible in'Ningda 16''Ningjing 56'and'Fuyuan 4',slight in'Ningda 6'and'Ningjing 51'(15%and 10%,respectively),while'Qiuyou 88'exhibited severe lodging(70%),followed by'Zhongke 804''Ningjing 57'and'Mengxiang'(30%,25%,and 20%,respectively).PCA reduced the twelve indices to four independent principal components, explaining 88.068%of the total variance.Membership function analysis ranked the cultivars based on their D values, from highest to lowest:'Ningjing 51''Ningda 6''Mengxiang(CK)''Ningjing 56''Ningjing 57''Fuyuan 4''Qiuyou 88''Zhongke 804'and'Ningda 16'.Both'Ningjing 51'and'Ningda 6'surpassed the local control(Mengxiang)in D values, whereas'Ningjing 56'was slightly lower.Consequently,'Ningjing 51'is recommended as the primary cultivar for sandy saline-alkali land in Ningxia, followed by'Ningda 6'and'Mengxiang',with'Ningjing 56'as a viable alternative.关键词
