Abstract

Currently,the mechanization level of vegetable production in Beijing ranks among the highest nationwide.To ensure the stable supply of the capital's 'vegetable basket'and enhance the self-sufficiency rate of key agricultural products,it is imperative to further advance the development of vegetable production mechanization.Based on a systematic review of the development history of vegetable mechanization in Beijing(excluding multi-span greenhouses),this article comprehensively analyzes the development status and provides an outlook on future trends.The development of vegetable mechanization in Beijing has undergone three key stages including initial pilot exploration,integrated demonstration of full-process mechanization and intelligent upgrading.The current mechanization rates for facility-based and open-field vegetable production have reached 52.07%and 46.22%,respectively.Mechanization levels are relatively high in land preparation and plant protection,while transplanting and harvesting remain bottlenecks,and development varies significantly across districts.Despite notable achievements,challenges such as reliance on imported equipment and insufficient integration of machinery with agronomic practices persist.Future efforts require coordinated advancement across multiple dimensions such as technological innovation,industrial collaboration,service optimization and policy support,to establish a full mechanized system and achieve high-quality development in vegetable mechanization.
