中部地区跨境电商综合试验区设立对区域经济增长的影响研究
Research on the Impact of the Establishment of Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zones in Central China on Regional Economic Growth

Abstract
The establishment of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones is a major innovative measure for China to promote high-level opening up in the new development stage,which has significant implications for regional economic growth.Against this backdrop,this study selects 80 prefecture-level cities in the central region from 2011 to 2023 as the research subjects and employs a multi-period difference-in-differences model to assess the policy effects of the establishment of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones on regional economic development.The research findings indicate that:First,the establishment of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones in the central region can promote regional economic growth,but the policy effects are characterized by a time lag and long-term nature.Second,the establishment of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones in the central region mainly promotes regional economic growth through three aspects:talent aggregation effect,trade promotion effect,and digital finance empowerment effect.Third,heterogeneity tests show that the economic promotion effect of this measure is more significant in large cities and non-resource-based cities.Based on the empirical analysis,suggestions are put forward to further promote the development of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones and cross-border e-commerce in the central region.关键词
