Development Status and Challenges of Vegetable Mechanization in Shanghai

Abstract
In order to effectively address the problems of 'labor shortage and high labor costs' in vegetable production and promote the high-quality development of urban modern agriculture,Shanghai,as one of the earliest regions in China to systematically carry out mechanized vegetable production,has made significant progress in the mechanization of leafy vegetables such as stem and leaf types,root-cutting types and Brassica.It has gradually established mechanized production technological modes for multiple vegetable varieties,laying a foundation for the full-chain development of the vegetable industry.Based on investigations of core leafy vegetable production bases and'machinery replacement'demonstration bases in Shanghai,this article analyzes the status and achievements of vegetable mechanization from five aspects:equipment level,agronomic technologies,facility conditions,business modes and tallent quality.It summarizes the development history,identifies challenges such as inadequate mechanical equipment and technology,insufficient integration of agricultural machinery and agronomy,low suitability of facilities for mechanization,fragmented industry operations and relatively low overall quality of practitioners.Corresponding countermeasures are proposed,including enhancing research and development promotion,deepening the integration of agricultural machinery and agronomy,advancing mechanization-adapted facility upgrades,optimizing management mechanisms and strengthening talent training.These measures aim to improve the level of vegetable mechanization in Shanghai and provide technical support for developing urban advanced agriculture,premium agriculture and branded agriculture.关键词
