摘要
Abstract
Junior high school English is a crucial stage in English learning,reading can not only accumulate rich knowledge of English language and culture,but more importantly,cultivate students'cross-cultural ability,critical thinking,innovation ability and lifelong learning ability.However,traditional reading teaching in junior high school mostly focuses on the explanation of vocab-ulary,semantics and grammar knowledge,ignoring the exercise of students'dominant position and the cultivation of reading strate-gies,resulting in students'low interest in reading and unsatisfactory effects.Based on this,this paper innovatively applies the reading circle model based on the theory of language learning activity view.This paper explores how to design reading teaching ac-tivities that can not only fit the cognitive characteristics of junior high school students but also promote their all-round development through links such as activity design,interactive communication,and evaluation feedback,combined with junior high school English picture book lessons,effectively integrating the English learning activity view into reading teaching.Stimulating students'interest in reading aims to construct teaching activities centered on students,covering various language time,strengthening cultural understand-ing,and cultivating critical thinking,thereby enhancing the effectiveness of reading teaching,fostering students'language learning ability and comprehensive quality,and laying a solid foundation for their lifelong learning.关键词
