Abstract

As a major producer and consumer of vegetables,China dedicates approximately one-quarter of its vegetable cultivation area to Solanaceous vegetables.The development of full mechanization is of great significance for alleviating labor shortages and enhancing industrial efficiency.This paper systematically reviews the status of mechanization technologies in key stages of Solanaceous vegetable production,including soil preparation,transplanting and harvesting,while providing a comparative analysis of the technical features and application levels of relevant mechanical equipment both domestically and internationally.Although significant progress has been made in areas such as combined soil operation and semi-automatic transplanting in China,the country still lags behind advanced international standards in efficient harvesting and intelligent equipment.In response to challenges such as insufficient policy support,delayed infrastructure development,inadequate integration of agricultural machinery and agronomic practices,and a lack of key technologies and equipment,this study proposes countermeasures including strengthening technological innovation and independent research,promoting deeper integration of machinery and agronomy,increasing policy support and financial investment,and innovating production and management modes.These measures aim to advance the full mechanization and intelligent development of Solanaceous vegetable production,thereby improving quality,efficiency,and sustainability in the vegetable industry.
