Best Evidence-based Analysis of Current Status and Influencing Factors of Eye Management in ICU Patients on Prone Ventilation

Abstract
Objective To comprehensively evaluate the current status of eye management in ICU patients on prone ventilation based on a summary of best evidence,analyze barriers and facilitators,and develop action strategies.Methods Using the JBI Model of EBHC as the theoretical framework,23 pieces of evidence for eye management in ICU patients on prone ventilation were summarized.Review indicators and methods were established based on expert opinions.In June-August 2024,healthcare providers and patients on prone ventilation were selected from the Emergency Intensive Care Unit(EICU)at a Grade Ⅲ-A hospital in Shanghai to participate in baseline reviews.Results A total of 18 eye management review indicators were established for ICU patients on prone ventilation.The clinical implementation rate was<60％for 15 of these indicators.Through 4M1E factor analysis,16 barriers and 8 facilitators were identified,leading to the proposal of 15 corresponding action strategies.Conclusion There are still barriers in the clinical application of the best evidence for evidence-based eye management in ICU patients on prone ventilation.Targeted measures should be developed to address these barriers and facilitate the translation of evidence into practice.关键词
