莲阳河幸福河湖建设探索与实践
Exploration and Practice of Happy River and Lake Construction in the Lianyang River

Abstract
In 2023,the Lianyang river in Chenghai district,Shantou city,Guangdong province was selected for the second batch of"Happy rivers and lakes"construction projects by the ministry of water resources.To address new challenges in river and lake governance,Chenghai district implemented a people-centered approach under the framework of the river chief system.This approach involved comprehensive improvements to watershed landscapes,multi-dimensional spatial management,and widespread public engagement.As a result,both ecological restoration and socio-economic development were achieved in an integrated manner.This paper summarizes the key practices and achievements in ecological rehabilitation,River Chief System innovation,water culture preservation,and water economy development,providing valuable insights for similar projects nationwide.关键词
