Abstract
To address the urgent need for traditional hydropower units to participate deeply in peak regulation in the new power system dominated by new energy sources,resolving issues such as the narrow stable operation range of traditional hydraulic turbines and the difficulty in achieving stable wide-load operation across the full head range has become a key focus of technological upgrading and transformation for hydropower units in China.Taking the capacity-increasing transformation of the hydraulic turbines at Dongfeng Power Plant as the research object,an in-depth analysis of the key technical points for selecting the main parameters of hydraulic turbines suitable for wide-load operation across the full head range is carried out.Based on computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulation calculations of the entire flow passage,the hydraulic development of runner is completed.Dynamic characteristic analyses are performed on the integral runner and movable guide vanes,and the excellent comprehensive performance of runner is verified through model runner acceptance tests.Furthermore,the hydraulic transient process of water conveyance system is rechecked and analyzed based on runner characteristic curves,ensuring the safety of water conveyance system after unit transformation.Through in-depth research on the key technologies for the capacity-increasing transformation of hydraulic turbines at Dongfeng Power Plant,a new technical approach is provided for significantly expanding the stable operation range of traditional hydropower units,and holds important reference significance for the subsequent technological transformation of old and aging hydraulic turbines in China's hydropower plants.关键词
