Research progress on role of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 in vascular aging
摘要
Abstract
Vascular aging refers to the process of a series of structural and functional changes in blood vessels with ag-ing.Endothelial dysfunction is an early manifestation of vascular aging.Plasminogen activator inhibitor 1(PAI-1)has been identified as a senescence-associated secretory phenotype and a marker of endothelial cell senescence.PAI-1 can par-ticipate in vascular aging by promoting vascular endothelial cell senescence,perivascular fibrosis,thrombosis and vascular inflammation.Systematic study on the mechanism of PAI-1 in vascular aging and its related vascular diseases can provide new ideas for the prevention and treatment of vascular aging-related diseases.关键词
