Development of Digital Economy Modernization of Public Services and Common Prosperity of Farmers and Rural Areas

Abstract
Promoting the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas is a key component and important indicator for achieving the common prosperity of all the people.This paper utilizes the provincial panel data from 2010 to 2023 to conduct an empirical analysis of the impact of digital economic development on the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas,and em-ploys the mediation effect model to explore the mediating role of the modernization of public services between the two.The bench-mark regression results show that the development of digital economy can promote the common prosperity of farmers and rural ar-eas.Heterogeneity analysis results show that compared with the central,western and northeastern regions,the development of digi-tal economy has a more significant effect on improving the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas in the eastern region.The results of the mediation effect test show that the development of digital economy can empower farmers and rural areas to achieve common prosperity by improving the modernization level of public services.关键词
