The Restructuring of Corporate Value Co-Creation Model under the Background of Common Prosperity

Abstract
Common prosperity is a vital national strategy in our country.Achieving common prosperity hinges on the creation and equitable sharing of both material and spiritual wealth.Against this backdrop,how corporates can innovate and upgrade the value co-creation model and collaborate with a broader range of diverse stakeholders to co-create and share dual wealth of material and spirit has become the key to their development.However,literature review indicates that the existing corporate value co-creation is mainly profit-oriented,committed to maximizing material wealth,and only emphasizes co-creating and sharing value achievements with the core stakeholders in the corporate value chain.This is significantly different from the"co-creation and sharing by all the people"and"dual prosperity in both material and spiritual aspects"emphasized by common prosperity.Therefore,at present,both the theoretical and practical circles still lack a clear understanding and effective paths on how to effectively guide corporates to unite multiple stakeholders to achieve the co-creation and sharing of dual wealth under the goal of common prosperity.Therefore,this paper focuses on the important issue of how to break the limitations of corporate value co-creation under the traditional profit target orientation and construct an innovative model of corporate value co-creation serving the goal of achieving common prosperity for research. Firstly,this study systematically reviews foundational concepts including common prosperity,corporate value,and value co-creation,while analyzing the new demands confronting profit-oriented value co-creation within advancing common prosperity initiatives.Secondly,through comparative examination of value co-creation frameworks under profit-maximization versus common prosperity paradigms,this research identifies distinctive attributes of common prosperity-driven co-creation throughout the commitment,activation,route and evaluation stages.It further diagnoses critical implementation challenges:mission ambiguities in value co-creation,insufficient resource allocation,suboptimal pathway design,and fragmented outcome assessment systems.Then,building upon a dual theoretical-technical perspective,the study constructs a dual corporate space to address novel co-creation demands while resolving the insufficiency of co-creation participants,the limitation of wealth and the limitation of sharing.Finally,we build a CARE model covering the entire process of corporate value co-creation in the context of common prosperity,namely"Commitment(C)→ Activation(A)→ Route(R)→ Evaluation(E)".Based on the CARE model,we aim at facilitating the key elements that determine the success of each stage,and analyze the entire process of dual wealth value co-creation between corporates and multi-stakeholders,including mission commitment,activation mechanism,route selection and evaluation feedback.Furthermore,we focus on the core issues of value consensus,value co-investment,value co-benefit and value symbiosis.We also aim at solving a series of critical issues and they are:1)How to reach an accurate consensus?2)How to ensure sufficient co-investment?3)How to ensure sufficient mutual benefits?and 4)How to realize symbiosis for a long time? This study contributes to the existing literature in three aspects:first,it clarifies the uniqueness of corporate value co-creation under common prosperity and expands the related research on corporate value co-creation in the specific context of common prosperity.Second,this paper proposes to construct a"dual corporate space",enriching the related research on the co-creation space of corporate value and providing new ideas for the strategic planning of corporate value co-creation under the goal of common prosperity.Third,by constructing the CARE model for corporate value co-creation oriented to common prosperity,the related research on the corporate value co-creation model has been further expanded. In conclusion,the CARE model for corporate value co-creation oriented towards common prosperity constructed in this paper not only promotes the theoretical research on corporate value co-creation,but also has significant practical significance in assisting corporates and multiple stakeholders to co-create and share dual wealth,and promoting the realization of the national goal of common prosperity.关键词
