Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of a multidisciplinary collaborative intervention model based on comprehensive geriatric assessment(CGA)on the quality of life in elderly stroke patients during the recovery phase.Methods:A total of 200 elderly stroke patients in the recovery phase admitted to the Geriatrics Department of Shantou Central Hospital between January 2022 and December 2023 were enrolled.Patients were randomly divided into an intervention group and a control group using a random number table,with 100 patients in each group.The control group received routine geriatric and stroke care.The intervention group received multidisciplinary collaborative intervention based on CGA in addition to routine care.Quality of life was assessed using the SF-36 scale,activities of daily living(ADL)using the Barthel Index,and neurological deficit using the modified Rankin Scale(mRS)before the intervention and 2 months after the intervention.Patient satisfaction rates with medical and nursing services were also recorded.Results:At 2 months post-intervention,the intervention group showed significantly higher SF-36 scores(76.8±5.1 vs.66.4±14.7)and Barthel Index scores(74.2±8.2 vs.65.6±5.4),and significantly lower mRS scores(2.24±0.68 vs.2.64±0.89)compared to the control group(all P<0.05).Patient satisfaction with medical and nursing services was also significantly higher in the intervention group(97%)than in the control group(74%)(P<0.05).Conclusion:The multidisciplinary collaborative intervention model based on CGA can effectively improve the quality of life,activities of daily living,and neurological function in elderly stroke patients during the recovery phase,while enhancing patient satisfaction.关键词
