辅助生殖技术助孕女性血清血管生成素样蛋白8与体重指数的关联研究
Association between serum angiopoietin-like protein 8 and body mass index in women undergoing assisted reproductive technology

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the association between serum angiopoietin-like protein 8(ANGPTL8)concentration and body mass index(BMI)in women undergoing assisted reproductive technology(ART).Methods:In this cross-sectional study,122 infertile women receiving ART treatment at Shantou Central Hospital Reproductive Center(2021-2023)were enrolled(age:31.2±4.6 years).Participants were categorized into normal-weight(BMI 18.5-<24.0 kg/m2,n=82)and overweight(BMI 24.0-27.9 kg/m2,n=40)groups.Serum ANGPTL8 concentrations were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Spearman's correlation and multiple linear regression analyses were performed to evaluate the relationship between ANGPTL8 concentration and BMI.Results:Serum ANGPTL8 concentration was significantly lower in the overweight group compared to the normal-weight group(P<0.05).Spearman's analysis revealed a negative correlation between ANGPTL8 concentration and BMI(r=-0.345,P<0.001),but no significant correlations with age(r=0.073,P=0.750)or triglyceride levels(r=-0.087,P=0.421).After adjusting for age,education level,smoking,and alcohol consumption,multiple linear regression confirmed a negative correlation between ANGPTL8 concentration and BMI(b=-0.976,P<0.001).Conclusion:Serum ANGPTL8 concentration is negatively correlated with BMI in infertile women undergoing ART.This association may inform weight management and metabolic risk assessment strategies.关键词
