摘要
Abstract
Objective:To investigate factors associated with surgical site infection(SSI)after colorectal resection. Methods:A case-control study was conducted by retrospectively enrolling 1,010 patients who underwent colorectal resection at Shantou Central Hospital between January 2023 and December 2024.Based on the occurrence of SSI,patients were divided into an SSI group(n=120)and a non-SSI group(n=890).Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were performed to identify potential risk factors. Results:The overall SSI incidence was 11.9%(120/1,010).Univariate analysis revealed statistically significant differences(P<0.05)in surgical approach, hypoproteinemia, anemia, diabetes,ASA classification, incision class, and ostomy between the two groups.Multivariate logistic regression demonstrated:Laparoscopic surgery was a potential protective factor against SSI(OR=0.42,95%CI:0.27-0.66);ASA class III-IV(OR=1.83,95%CI:1.21-2.79),anemia(OR=1.85,95%CI:1.11-3.08),and ostomy(OR=1.74,95%CI:1.05-2.89)were potential risk factors for SSI(P<0.05).Conclusion:Laparoscopic surgery reduces SSI risk after colorectal resection, whereas ASA class III-IV,anemia,and ostomy increase the risk.Prioritizing minimally invasive techniques, optimizing preoperative patient status, and strictly controlling ostomy indications are recommended to reduce SSI incidence.关键词
