Analysis of WANG Baohe's Academic Thoughts on the Application of Regulating the Mind to Treat Heart Diseases

Abstract
The article systematically summarizes Professor Wang Baohe's academic ideas,clinical experience,and medication characteristics in using the method of regulating the mind to treat heart diseases.Professor Wang inherits the academic ideas of the Yishui School on the pathogenesis of visceral diseases and attaches great importance to the influence of"spirit"on the syndrome of heart diseases.We have established the core pathogenesis of"heart obstruction,liver depression,spleen deficiency,and kidney deficiency".Propose four distinctive treatment methods:firstly,"nourish the heart and calm its spirit through the circulation of meridians".In response to the synergistic relationship between the heart,blood vessels,and the spirit,the combination of Sheng-mai Yin and Zhigancao Tang is modified to clear and tonify the heart yin,promote circulation of meridians,and calm the spirit;The second principle is to"soothe the liver and regulate the spirit to reach the heart",which closely follows the characteristics of emotional and pathological diseases in modern society.Taking"liver qi stagnation"as the starting point of the disease course,a formula for relieving depression and aiding sleep has been established to soothe the liver,eliminate fire,relieve depression,and calm the mind;Thirdly,"strengthening the spleen and benefiting the spirit to nourish the heart",the spleen is the source of phlegm,and the combination of Warm Gallbladder Decoction and Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction is used for digestion,tonifying the spleen,eliminating dampness,dispelling phlegm,and relieving rheumatism,targeting palpitations and chest rheumatism caused by phlegm stagnation;The fourth principle is to"dispel toxins and transform turbidity to regulate their spirit",which is divided into three stages:early,middle,and late.关键词
