摘要

Abstract

[Purpose/Significance]The behavior of users navigating across social media platforms has driven the inno-vation of information recommendation methods,where the same recommendation information traverses different social plat-forms,forming a cross-social media information recommendation network.However,the mechanism of this approach is not yet clear.Investigating the mechanism of cross-social media information recommendation can offer new theoretical per-spectives and model frameworks.[Method/Process]Based on the theories of Cue Consistency and Trust Transfer,a theoreti-cal model was constructed,and hypotheses were tested using questionnaire surveys and the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling(PLS-SEM)method.[Result/Conclusion]The research findings indicate that content consistency,cue consistency,social platform trust,and sender trust significantly influence the trust in information cues,which in turn posi-tively affects information adoption.Additionally,social platform trust and sender trust positively moderate the relationships between content consistency,comment consistency,and trust in information cues,respectively.Furthermore,the consis-tency of social platform trust facilitates the impact of trust in information cues on information adoption,exhibiting a comple-mentary relationship with trust in information cues.Conversely,the consistency of sender trust inhibits the impact of trust in information cues on information adoption,demonstrating a substitutive relationship with trust in information cues.This study enriches the theoretical foundation of cross-social media information recommendation and provides insights for social platforms,information senders,and enterprises utilizing cross-social media information recommendation.
