Abstract

Based on the survey data of Rhopilema esculentum in the offshore waters of southern Shandong Peninsula in early July from 2010 to 2024,the distribution center of gravity and spatial autocorrelation coefficients were calcu-lated,and the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of R.esculentum resources in southern Shandong Peninsula were analyzed.The results showed that the maximum CPUE of R.esculentum was 23.04 kg/h in 2017,and the frequencies of occurrence ranged from 19.44%to 70.47%from 2010 to 2024.Except in 2010,2015,2018,and 2024,the R.esculentum center of gravity was more concentrated in Haiyang sea areas.The global spa-tial autocorrelation results showed strong global spatial autocorrelation for all years except 2010 and 2015-2017.The local spatial autocorrelation results showed high-value hotspot areas in all years except 2010 and 2015-2017;in other years,there were hotspots,mainly in Haiyang and its surrounding waters.This study clarifies the distribu-tion pattern of R.esculentum resources,which are mainly concentrated in the northeast of the southern sea area of Shandong Peninsula,and is helpful for R.esculentum resource fishing and enhancement.
