Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of Perampanel combined with Levetiracetam on epilepsy secondary to cerebral infarction.Method:According to the random number table method,82 patients with epilepsy secondary to cerebral infarction who were admitted to the Shangrao People's Hospital from March 2022 to March 2024 were divided into group A and group B,with 41 patients in each group.Group A was treated with Perampanel Tablets combined with Levetiracetam Tablets by oral administration,while group B was treated with oral Carbamazepine Tablets combined with Levetiracetam Tablets.The brain wave,cognitive function,and serum neuron specific enolase(NSE)and astrocyte-derived protein(S100B)levels were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(P=0.264).After treatment,cognitive function scores for abstract thinking,memory and attention of the two groups were improved compared with those before the treatment,and those in group A had higher scores than those of group B(P<0.05).After treatment,serum NSE and S100B levels in the two groups were decreased compared with those before the treatment,and those in group A were lower than those in group B(P<0.05).After treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P=0.155).Conclusion:The efficacy of Perampanide combined with Levetiracetam in the treatment of secondary epilepsy to cerebral infarction is comparable to that of Carbamazepine combined with Levetiracetam.However,the former can improve patients'cognitive function more effectively,with a lower risk of adverse reactions.关键词
