Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of enteral balanced nutrition combined with Bifidobacterium Triple Active Bacteria Capsules on serum retinol-binding protein(RBP)levels and the incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia(VAP)in critically illness patients.Method:Fifty critically illness patients who were treated in Ganzhou People's Hospital from June 2021 to June 2024 were selected and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 25 cases in each group.The control group was given enteral balanced nutrition,while the observation group was given enteral balanced nutrition combined with Bifidobacterium Triple Active Bacteria Capsules.The nutritional indicators,the incidence of VAP,immune function,adverse reactions,and clinical rehabilitation indicators in the two groups were observed and compared.Result:Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in the levels of serum transferrin(TF),RBP,albumin(ALB),and prealbumin(PA)between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum TF,RBP,ALB and PA in both groups significantly increased,and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of VAP in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of IgM,IgA and IgG in both groups significantly increased,and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions showed no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Compared with the control group,the days of mechanical ventilation,ICU stay,and total hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter(P<0.05).Conclusion:Enteral balanced nutrition combined with Bifidobacterium Triple Active Bacteria Capsules can effectively improve the nutritional levels of critically illness patients,reduce the risk of VAP,enhance immune function,and have high safety,which is conducive to promoting the recovery of patients.关键词
