摘要

Abstract

With the rapid development of new energy technology and iterative updates in battery pack design,more and more battery packs are introducing potting glue.The disassembly of glued battery packs is difficult,and methods such as soaking in organic solvents,low-temperature freezing,and high-temperature heating can be used to render the potting adhesive ineffective,thereby disassembling individual batteries.However,there is no research to prove that soaking batteries in organic solvents does not affect battery performance.Therefore,the performance changes of batteries soaked in organic solvents are experimentally studied.Research has found that after solvent immersion,the sealing performance,self discharge rate,and capacity performance of the battery are not affected,and the sealing adhesive attached between and around the batteries fails,which is beneficial for disassembling individual batteries.
