Abstract
Objective:To investigate the influence of microwave diathermy on the therapeutic effect of patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with maxillofacial space infection.Method:A total of 106 patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with maxillofacial space infection in Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Dalian University from October 2021 to January 2024 were divided into control group(n=53)and observation group(n=53)by the random number table method.The control group were treated with routine treatment for diabetes mellitus and maxillofacial space infection,the observation group were treated with microwave diathermy on the basis of the control group.The total effective rates for maxillofacial space infection,wound healing indexes(wound healing time and granulation growth time),abscess diameter,mouth opening degree,pain degree(VAS score),inflammation indexes[WBC,CRP and procalcitonin(PCT)]and coagulation indexes[D-dimer(D-D),fibrinogen(FIB)]before and after the treatment of two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate for maxillofacial space infection of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group,the wound healing time and granulation growth time were earlier than those of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The abscess diameter,mouth opening degree,VAS scores,inflammation indexes and coagulation indexes of two groups before the treatment were compared,the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The abscess diameter,inflammation indexes and coagulation indexes of observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those of control group,the mouth opening degree and VAS score were significantly better than those of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of microwave diathermy in the patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with maxillofacial space infection is better,and it can significantly improve the expression of inflammation and coagulation indexes of patients.关键词
