Application and Prospects of High-Throughput Omics Technology in Acupuncture
摘要
Abstract
Objective:As a conventional therapeutic approach,acupuncture is an indispensable component of TCM.However,due to the lack of systematic biological validation,our understanding of its underlying mechanisms remains limited.The emergence and advancement of high-throughput omics technologies have provided new tools and theoretical support for elucidating the biological basis of acupuncture.Unlike traditional linear pathway-based studies,systematic biology approaches enable comprehensive analysis of acupuncture's effects on the organism.This review explores the integration of acupuncture with various omics techniques,including genomics,proteomics,metabolomics,and multi-omics integration at the tissue level,as well as single-cell sequencing and spatial transcriptomics at the cellular level.It provides an in-depth discussion on the mechanisms of acupoint activation,signal transduction,and target organ effects.These studies enhance the understanding of acupuncture at both molecular and cellular levels,offering a scientific foundation for its further development and application in modern medicine.关键词
