Effects of the'Golden Hook Fishing'Acupuncture Combined with Isokinetic Muscle Strength Training on Neurological and Motor Function in Post-Stroke Hemiplegic Patients

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the effect of the'Golden Hook Fishing'acupuncture combined with isokinetic muscle strength training on neurological and motor function in patients with post-stroke hemiplegia.Methods:A total of 92 patients with post-stroke hemiplegia were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,with 46 patients in each group.The control group received isokinetic muscle strength training;on which basis,the observation group was also treated with the'Golden Hook Fishing'acupuncture.Both groups underwent continuous treatment for four courses.The therapeutic effects and levels of neurological injury biomarkers were compared between the two groups.Neurological function was assessed using the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)and the modified Rankin Scale(mRS).Motor function was evaluated using the Functional Ambulation Categories(FAC)and the Berg Balance Scale(BBS).Quality of life was assessed using the Quality of Life Instrument for Chronic Diseases-Stroke Test(QLICD-ST).Results:The total effective rate was 93.48(43/46)in the observation group,which was higher than 69.57％(32/46)in the control group(P＜0.05).The NIHSS and mRS scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group after the treatment(P＜0.05).The levels of neuron-specific enolase,myelin basic protein,and cone arrestin-like protein 1 were also significantly lower in the observation group compared to the control group(P＜0.05).Additionally,the observation group showed significantly higher scores in the FAC,BBS,and QLICD-ST compared to the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The combination of the'Golden Hook Fishing'acupuncture and isokinetic muscle strength training demonstrates significant therapeutic efficacy in treatment of post-stroke hemiplegia.It can reduce levels of neurological injury biomarkers,enhance neurological and motor function,and thereby improve the quality of life in patients with post-stroke hemiplegia.关键词
