Identification and Cluster Analysis of Agronomic Traits in Different Types of Rapeseed Resources

Abstract
To understand the characteristics of different rapeseed resources and identify superior germplasms for breeding,this study evaluated 55 rapeseed germplasms.Phenotypic evaluation,correlation analysis,and cluster analysis were conducted on 13 agronomic traits,including growth period,plant height,number of branches,1000-seed weight,and yield per plant,etc.The results showed that the coefficients of variation of the growth period among different types of rapeseed were relatively low,all below 20%,while those of the number of siliques on the main inflorescence,siliques per plant,and yield per plant all exceeded 20%.Correlation analysis revealed that the relationships among traits were generally consistent across the three rapeseed types,with the number of siliques on the main inflorescence,silique density,and 1000-seed weight being closely associated with yield formation.At a Euclidean distance of ten,the 55 rapeseed resources were clustered into four groups.Subgroup D of Group Ⅰ contained large-seeded Brassica napus resources.Group Ⅱ exhibited superior performance across various agronomic traits,making it an excellent source for breeding new high-yielding varieties(lines).Group Ⅲ was characterized by high silique density and a large number of siliques,making it a good choice for breeding multi-silique parents.Group IV was rapeseed resources used for green manure.The large-grain,high-yield,multi-silique,and high-biomass accessions identified in this study provide a theoretical basis and valuable materials for future rapeseed trait improvement.关键词
