Textbook Usage Quality:A New Perspective on the Quality Evaluation of Vocational Education Specialized Course Textbooks

Abstract
The evaluation of the quality of vocational education specialized course textbooks should shift from the static analysis of textbook texts to the evaluation of textbook usage quality.Based on Field Theory,an analysis using Vygotsky's Activity Theory Model and Rezat's"Four-Subject and Three-Dimension"Model reveals that the teaching field of vocational education specialized courses comprises three subjects:teachers,students,and knowledge.Among these,textbooks play a mediating role between teachers,students,and specialized knowledge.This forms a new theoretical framework for the evaluation of the usage quality of vocational education specialized course textbooks.Specifically,starting from the ability of specialized course textbooks to mediate the three pairs of relationships—between teachers and students,between teachers and knowledge,and between students and knowledge—a new paradigm for evaluating the usage quality of specialized course textbooks is constructed.The purpose of this evaluation paradigm is to encourage textbook developers and editing teams to attach greater importance to the use value of textbooks.The design of evaluation indicators should shift from focusing on the textbooks themselves to focusing on the implementation of textbooks'mediating functions,and the evaluation methods should transition from separate evaluation to integrated evaluation.关键词
