Research Progress on the Mechanism of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in the Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis Based on the"Gut-Joint"Axis
摘要
Abstract
Knee osteoarthritis(KOA)is a chronic degenerative joint disease characterized by articular cartilage degeneration and sy-novial inflammation.With in-depth research on gut microbiota,numerous scholars have proposed that the pathogenesis of KOA may be closely related to the gut microenvironment,including gut permeability,gut microbiota,and gut immunity.Acupuncture and moxibustion can regulate gut microbiota and improve gut microecology,thereby treating knee osteoarthritis.Based on the theoretical framework of the"gut-joint"axis,this study elucidates the relationship between gut internal environment and KOA,reveals the rel-evant mechanisms by which acupuncture and moxibustion treat knee osteoarthritis by regulating the gut microenvironment,and pro-motes the better translation of mechanism research results into clinical application,with the aim of providing new strategies for the clinical treatment of osteoarthritis.关键词
