门德尔松手法联合吞咽康复训练治疗脑卒中后患者吞咽功能障碍的临床疗效
Clinical Study of Mendelssohn Maneuver Combined with Swallowing Rehabilitation Training on Patients with Dysphagia after Stroke

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the intervention effects of Mendelsohn maneuver combined with swallowing rehabilitation train-ing on dysphagia in patients with post-stroke.Methods:From June 2022 to October 2024,60 inpatients with post-stroke dysphagia were selected from the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine,the Second Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical University.The patients were divided into a control group and a maneuver group(30 cases each)using the Excel random number table method.The control group received only conventional swallowing rehabilitation training,while the maneuver group underwent Mendelssohn ma-neuver treatment in addition to the conventional training,for 5 sessions per week over 3 weeks.Before and after treatment,patients were evaluated using the Standard Swallowing Assessment(SSA),the Swallowing-Quality of Life(SWAL-QOL),and the Video Fluoroscopic Swallowing Study(VFSS).Additionally,surface electromyography(sEMG)technology was used to measure the maxi-mum peak value of the suprahyoid muscle group and the duration of swallowing.Results:After 3 weeks of treatment,SWAL-QOL scores,VFSS scores,and sEMG maximum peak values were significantly higher than pre-treatment values within each group(P<0.001),SSA scores and swallowing duration were significantly lower than pre-treatment values within each group(P<0.001),and the swallowing duration of the two groups was shorter than that within the group before treatment(P<0.001).Furthermore,improve-ments in all indicators were significantly better in the manual therapy group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Mendelssohn maneuver and swallowing rehabilitation training significantly improves swallowing function in pa-tients with post-stroke dysphagia and effectively improves the quality of life of patients.关键词
