陇中黄土高原不同草地类型植被特征与土壤理化性质
Vegetation characteristics and soil physicochemical properties of different grassland types in the Loess Plateau of central Gansu

Abstract
[Objective]An exploration of the vegetation growth status and soil physicochemical characteristics of various grassland types on the typical Loess Plateau in China,along with the relationship between them.[Method]Six grassland types(alpine meadow,alpine steppe,mountain meadow,temperate desert,temperate desert steppe,and temperate steppe)were selected on the Loess Plateau in Longzhong to study the relationship between vegetation characteristics and the physicochemical properties and mutual feedback relationship of soils in different soil horizons(0~10,10~20,and 20~30 cm).[Result]Significant differences in vegetation characteristics and soil physicochemi-cal properties among different grassland types on the Loess Plateau in Longzhong(P<0.05).Among the six grass-land types,alpine meadows had the highest soil water content(SWC),soil organic carbon(SOC),total carbon(TC),total nitrogen(TN),total phosphorus(TP),and total potassium(TK),but the lowest bulk content(BD).The contents of SWC,SOC,TC,TN,and TP showed a gradual decrease with the increase of soil layer,but BD showed an increasing change characteristic.The physicochemical properties of the soil in the 0~30 cm soil layer showed that the soil organic carbon,total nitrogen,and total phosphorus contents were low,but the total potassium content was high.Soil organic carbon,total nitrogen,and total phosphorus contents were significantly and positively correlated with vegetation characteristics(vegetation cover,aboveground biomass,and litter biomass).[Conclusion]In the Loess Plateau region of Longzhong,alpine meadow grassland vegetation grows better,and the soil physico-chemical properties are better than those of other grassland types.关键词
