Abstract
For the issue of positioning errors caused by the numerical uncertainty of traditional time difference of arrival(TDOA)localization methods,a TDOA interval localization algorithm is propsed based on bidirectional contraction optimization.In the interval forward contraction phase,the algorithm resolves positioning failures induced by the base station layout through coordinate system rotation.It ingeniously transforms time difference measurements into hyperbolic interval representations,discretizes the hyperbolic intervals into a set of rectangles using binary method,and performs interval intersection operations to contract the initial localization area.In the interval backward contraction phase,the algorithm contracts the hyperbolic intervals backward using the initial localization area.The algorithm ultimately converges to obtain the interval localization results.Simulation results demonstrate that the optimized algorithm reduces the estimated interval from 40.10 m2 to 22.20 m2,a decrease of 44.6%,without affecting the localization accuracy and achieving the Cramér-Rao lower bound,and the confidence level remains above 99.3%.关键词
