摘要

Abstract

[Objective]To investigate the inhibition mechanism of mineral powder(MP)blending on the combustion characteristics and dioxin generation,in order to provide a basis for the development of cost-effective pollution control technology,in view of the pollution problem of dioxin(PCDD/Fs)generated by polyvinyl chloride(PVC)and other chlorine-containing substances in the process of waste incineration.[Methods]Thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)and single-particle combustion experiments were used to study the combustion characteristics of the blended fuels of mineral powder and PVC(25:75,50:50,75:25 mass ratio);the rotary kiln system was used to test the inhibition effect of 10%mineral powder blended with domestic rubbish,and the mechanism was clarified by combining the analysis of the flue gas/ash composition.[Results]The research results indicate that:(1)Mineral powder inhibits the combustion of polyvinyl chloride(PVC),with significant synergistic inhibitory effects at blending ratios of 25%and 50%.As the mineral powder blending ratio increases from 25%to 50%and 75%,the flame area of the mixed samples decreases;the ignition delay time shortens,dropping from 109 ms to 98 ms and 76 ms;however,the burnout time remains similar,approximately 14~18 ms;the average flame temperature decreases from 1 440 ℃ to 1 436 ℃ and 1 435 ℃.(2)After blending 10%mineral powder into municipal solid waste,the toxic equivalent concentration of dioxins in the flue gas decreases from 3.86 ng TEQ/m3 to 0.38 ng TEQ/m3,achieving an inhibition rate of 90.16%;the PCDFs/PCDDs ratio decreases from 3.89 to 1.38,indicating suppression of the source synthesis pathway.The flue gas HCl concentration decreased by 30.8%,and the Cl mass fraction in ash increased by 85.8%.[Conclusion]Mineral powder inhibits PVC combustion intensity and dioxin generation by fixing chlorine element,and the mixing of 10%can achieve efficient emission reduction,which provides a low-cost technology path for waste incineration pollution control and has significant engineering application value.
