聚合物凝胶机械性能调控研究进展
Research progress on regulating mechanical properties of polymer gels
摘要
Abstract
Owing to their special properties,polymer gels exhibit potential applications in the fields of biomedicine,flexible wearable materials,energy storage and bionic actuation.However,the challenge in controlling their mechanical properties is caused by the contradiction between rigidity and elasticity,which would hinder their broader application.The mechanical properties of polymer gels are affected by the molecular and structural engineering approaches.Molecular engineering is performed through modifying the molecular structure via introducing functional groups or dynamic bonds at the molecular level to dissipate energy.Structural engineering employs techniques,e.g.,casting,solvent phase regulation,mechanochemical modulation,heterogeneous modulus design,and mechanically interlocked structures,to achieve energy dissipation and construct topological network structures.The synergistic effects of these two engineering strategies are beneficial to enhance the potential application of gel materials.A theoretical foundation for improving mechanical properties was provided and served as a reference for designing new gels with tailored characteristics.关键词
