Abstract
With the advancement and application of internet and electronic communication technologies, labor has transcended spatial and temporal constraints. The content and methods of work are no longer limited by traditional workplaces and working hours, leading to a gradual blurring of the boundaries between work and life.Hence, the issue of hidden overtime has become increasingly prominent.Behind hidden overtime lies the overflow of workplace power, which infringes upon workers'right to disconnect and results in the colonization of their daily lives by occupational labor. To counter the hidden overtime, workers employ mobile phone management strategies, attempting to reclaim their right to disconnect through selective disconnection. In practice, however, resistance against the hidden overtime based on selective disconnection may lead to two outcomes:First, the marginalization of workers in the workplace due to conflicts over the right to disconnect;Second, workers'compromise with workplace power, leading to the collapse of their self-aesthetic redemption. For workers in the information age, reshaping the boundaries between work and life and regaining control over the right to disconnect require multiple measures, including institutional regulations, social supervision, and support. This will help establish a new labor order in the digital era that advances toward"temporal justice".关键词
