摘要

Abstract

Under the Emerging Engineering Education(3E)initiative,artificial intelligence(AI)is not only integrated as a technological tool into educational processes but also drives comprehensive innovation in pedagogical philosophies,teaching models,and talent cultivation paradigms.This study explores AI-empowered novel paradigms and reform pathways for engineering education in higher institutions,aiming to provide references for the digital transformation of engineering education.The study seeks to cultivate high-caliber engineering talents that meet contemporary demands and enhance the nation's core competitiveness in global technological competition.By analyzing the limitations of traditional engineering education,this research investigates the evolving competency requirements driven by intelligent technologies and elaborates on four core dimensions of AI-enabled educational paradigms.Furthermore the research proposes actionable strategies to address practical challenges and systemic barriers.Through in-depth discussions of these critical issues,this study offers valuable insights and actionable recommendations to advance the reform and development of engineering education in China.
