摘要
Abstract
Due to the severe shortage of dam-building materials in arid areas,improvement experiments were con-ducted on fine sand.In view of the engineering characteristics of fine sand materials for building a certain water stor-age pool in Inner Mongolia,physical and mechanical property tests of fine sand materials mixed with different pro-portions of cement were carried out,and the laws of influence on the physical and mechanical properties of fine sand materials were analyzed.The test results show that the shear strength of fine sand mixed with cement is significantly improved;the influence on compression index is relatively small;the anti-seepage effect is slightly improved;and it has certain compaction performance.For water-retaining structures with relatively low engineering grades or in ar-eas with low seismic intensity,it is feasible to use it as the filling material for the dam shell below the saturation line.关键词
